the snail tragedies, act II

..aw, man. i did it again.

heard a crunch underfoot as i walked to the mailbox, looked down..

..and once again, i'd crushed the shell of a snoggy snail. two snails who had been busily sucking face, and i'd just consigned one to a slow and painful death.. or a new life as a slug.

i hope the surviving snail wasn't the same one i'd done this same thing to a couple years back. same location, too.

how traumatising would that be, to have your snoggee die mid-pash. and not just once, but twice.

poor snail. scarred for life. it'll never love again.

but hey, that's what you get for being dumb enough to stop for a leisurely kiss in the middle of the road.
