= WoWphotos, vol. 07 =

Sometimes it gets very pretty in Outland, despite being full of really frightening wild pigs who can kill you without a second thought. And small gnome people who delight in murdering you time and time again, just because you're sooo much younger and cuter than they are.

Arlu and her big swoopy flying thing arrived on the scene to take care of the gnome infestation, and fluttered right up into the full moon above Spinebreaker Post. Was so pretty, Alf had to take a photo.. pretty..

...Alf spaced out for quite awhile, just sitting on the ground and staring dreamily into the night sky...

Being quite fond of the moon and silver and other lunar-associated things, she may have indulged in a quiet, werewolf-like "barooo" or two while staring up into the sky ^_^

The guards at the post didn't seem to mind a small elf in their midst periodically howling at the moon and interrupting their sleep.

Snap arrived for more Adventures in Outland, and so the intrepid pair trotted off to investigate big swirly electric crackles. Alf got stuck in a temporal pocket parallel universe where she thought Snap was frozen in time but really it turned out to be just a time-displacement bubble around her head.

Snap later fell off a cliff and smacked into a ledge, and died on impact. Alf, carefully peering over the cliff edge to see what happened, lost her footing and tumbled down after him.

Unlike Snap, who had landed on his face, Alf landed daintily on her feet. But with no way back up, and just her friend's corpse for company, there was nothing else to do but jump off the ledge and plummet into the void, and hope there'd be a happy ending..

Luckily the local Spirit Healers dragged their sorry asses back to Spinebreaker Post and restored them to life.

Lesson learned: if your friend jumps off a cliff, no matter how good a friend he is, you REALLY shouldn't follow him.

Having had enough of dying for one night, Alf settles comfortably into a hammock and drifts off to sleep..
